CNC Machining of Aluminum Door Hinge for the Railroad Industry
Bral Corporation was recently contracted to CNC machine a series of aluminum door hinges for a railroad industry client based in Pennsylvania. To begin this project, we first combined our advanced sand casting operations with our 4-axis VMC services, manufacturing each component to measure precisely 3 inches in length, 12 inches in width, and 6 inches in height. Each part also weighed 10 pounds.
After the parts were manufactured, we then performed our advanced finishing operations to complete each part. By successfully manufacturing each railcar AVC door hinge to meet our client's precise product specifications (based off a customer supplied, 2D CAD print), we now produce 10,000 aluminum door hinges for the railroad industry - delivering all products to our buyer's facility in Pennsylvania.
